Scared, confused, doubt, mistrust, these are the few words, which pop up when we look at this card. The man is scared and worried about something, a fear about something, the bandage on his head shows a fresh wound, which means he has just suffered some accident or loss. The image is also symbolical that he has lost his eight wands and he is only left with the one which he is holding on to it firmly signifying this last wand is his last hope to survive.
The message that comes up with this card is that when the time comes one has to protect and take care of himself but also he should not be too worried about something which has not happened yet. Often our tensions and anxiety is for the things that have not happened to us yet and our lack of being in the present brings stress. One has to learn to deal with things by being present in the moment and in a relaxed way and one should always remember that these difficult moments only teach him to be strong and face anything in life. If one is too worried about the accidents that happen in life than it will be impossible to drive on the road of life, one should take care but also deal with whatever god is sending for him.
